Performs general operational, and basic accounting/finance, IT, and HR functions for the chapter(s), including office management, coordination of chapter(s) bookkeeping, preparing financial reports as required, onboarding and offboarding new staff and volunteers, and assisting the chapter(s) as needed
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provides general administrative management of chapter offices including supplies, purchasing, and business equipment
- Coordinates and codes daily chapter financial records. (e.g. cash receipts, deposit slips, invoices and vendor statements)
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of donations and matching gifts
- Manages donor acknowledgement process (e.g., updating donor database, mailing donor acknowledgements and tax letters, etc.)
- Ensures the timely submission of invoices, check requests, and cash receipts templates to the national office
- Follows the AIM manual policies and procedures as well as coordinates operational policies and procedures with the chapter(s) staff
- Works with national office staff and Operations to correct miscodings and other errors on financial reports as necessary
- Reviews, distributes and reconciles regular reports created by the national office or Operations as needed
- May assist the Executive Director with:
- Coordination of Board activity (e.g., arranging space and logistics for Board meetings, preparation of agendas, reports, and presentations, taking minutes, tracking Board attendance and giving, etc.)
- Assists, as needed, with preparation of chapter(s) budgets and forecasts submitted to the national office
- Maintains assigned office, program and event records, files and databases
- Provides administrative and clerical support as assigned
- May assist with select HR functions for chapter(s) including updating time keeping system, posting open positions, scheduling interviews, obtaining and ensuring the completion of all related HR paperwork, onboarding, training, etc.
- May assist with select IT functions for chapter(s) including troubleshooting, local technical support, serving as chapter(s) IT contact for national office, etc.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote the field and campaign fundraising initiatives
- Provides on-site support for fundraising events as needed
- May assist other chapter offices as needed under the direction of the Field Operations team
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Educational Background:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of operations and/or accounting experience
Position Requirements:
- Solid accounting skills (e.g., Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable)
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with standard business machines and computers

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Occasional weekend & evening work required as needed at events
- Possible minimal travel to support other chapters as needed
