The Teach For America Los Angeles Team is looking for a Manager, Talent & Partnerships to own relationships and drive outcomes related to our corps member and alumni hiring cycle. In partnership with the Managing Director, Talent & Partnerships, you will set vision and direction to connect Teach For America talent to our partner schools in the Los Angeles region. You will develop deep, trusting relationships with a portfolio of district and charter partners, including the Los Angeles Unified School District, to meet their human capital needs. Through these relationships, you will identify opportunities for our TFA LA community members to maximize their leadership potential and impact for students in Los Angeles. You, along with your Talent & Partnerships colleagues, will drive toward 100% placement of corps members by the start of each school year and be held to a high bar for both corps member and school partner satisfaction. You will be responsible for working with the onboarding team to ensure that corps members meet the legal requirements to teach in our partner schools. In collaboration with the broader Corps Member & Alumni Impact Team, you will source and match alumni candidates to support and extend our partners’ impact, and increase the number of alumni school leaders in line with our regional vision.
The ideal candidate is a natural networker in diverse contexts and across lines of difference, with the ability to manage large-scale projects over multiple workstreams. You will report to the Managing Director, Talent & Partnerships. Please include a cover letter with your application and apply by Friday, July 13.
