We are looking for a person who is well organised, flexible, good problem solver who thinks fast on their feet in order to implement practical solutions quickly. Tasks may range from organising accommodation, looking after non-Polish speaking guests and travel arrangements, including flight bookings, to admin support, getting our team SIM cards or getting a permit from local authorities for an action.
You will work closely with our COP 24 Project Manager to ensure logistical needs are taken care of for team members and their activities.
Skills/Experience:
- Past experience carrying out logistics for an international project
- Ability to think fast on your feet and problem solve in a practical manner
- Knows city of Katowice well and is based in or near Katowice.
- Experience booking accommodation, meeting rooms
- Speaks fluent English and Polish
- Flexible - willing to do whatever it takes to get logistics in order
- Can-do positive attitude
- Demonstrated self initiative
Desired (but not required) skills and experiences
- Knowledge of international climate negotiations;
- Experience working with cross-cultural and remote teams;
