Under the direction of the Center Executive Director the Associate Executive Director is responsible for the ongoing center operations, including program development, management, all facets of child, youth and teen development, and the outreach department.
Areas of Responsibility:
- The Associate Executive Director will be responsible for the development and administration of the department, fiscal budgets, program development, promotion, implementation, evaluation, staff scheduling, supervision, and to provide staff leadership to achieve the YMCA mission and to position the center as a vital and integral asset that builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
Educational Background:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of professional experience, with recognition as a YMCA Multi-Team/Center Leader certification preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- The ability to develop and maintain quality programs is essential. Because of the program diversity, strong organizational and supervisory skills are required.
- This person must possess knowledge in the areas of fiscal management, program planning, member services and sales, personnel management, training and evaluation, public relations and fundraising.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $48,815.84 - $61,019.80
