Teach For America – Indianapolis seeks a Manager, Leadership Development Coach (MLDC) to play a critical role in the overall success of the TFA mission and vision. The MLDC is charged with developing a cohort of culturally competent and committed leaders who are clear on the impact they want to make on educational outcomes for children in Indianapolis now and in the future.
To achieve their charge, the MLDC will engage in one on one coaching with each member of their cohort, using the Transformational Coaching framework as a guide. The MLDC will also design, in collaboration with others, small group learning and development experiences aligned to the Teach For America Theory of Leadership. This Theory of Leadership calls on us to develop leaders that are committed to and empowered by the larger collective—therefore, MLDCs are charged with mobilizing cohorts of 2CMs to grow and learn from one another. Finally, the MLDC plays an important role in guiding corps members as they transition into alumnihood to develop their personal theories of change and identify pathways to continued leadership.
The Manager, Leadership Development Coach will report directly to the Managing Director, Corps Member Development.
