The Manger of Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for business process optimization and decision support. This position reports to the Director of Strategy and Operations. Individuals with consulting experience or a background in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile and/or Project Management are encouraged to apply.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Research, synthesize, model, and analyze operational data in support of executive decision making.
- Assist Divisions with annual budgeting and strategic planning.
- Analyze key business processes, make improvement recommendations, and work with divisions and staff to implement improvements.
- Monitor the portfolio of enterprise projects and initiatives. Work in tandem with the PMO Lead to collect and report status, manage portfolio risk, and ensure projects are completed on-time and on budget.
- Lead projects that advance NPR’s strategic plan and mission.
Educational Background:
Bachelors or Masters degree in finance, science, engineering, or business, with five (5) or more years of consulting, strategic planning, and/or project management experience.
Skills/Experience:
- Excellent financial, analytical, and modeling skills.
- Advance knowledge of excel, statistical analysis software, and data visualization software.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to interact with senior management levels
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into summaries appropriate for senior management use
- Achievement of professional certifications are a plus (e.g. CPA, CFA, PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Expert, etc.)
