The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program. Recruits, screens and enrolls eligible participants into the program, including risk assessments, financial aid, membership and payment processing. Hires supervises, evaluates and develops Lifestyle Coaches capable of providing services to diverse populations across our service area. Provide class coverage if needed to prevent a cancelled class. Collaborates with the Association Director of Community Health to establish relationships with a variety of networks to build public awareness, referrals and third party payment for the program. Leverages resources to collect and report on program data results. Supports grand funding and ensures funds are being utilized and tracked appropriately. Coordinates master schedule of classes offered throughout the Metro Washington area in collaboration with program and branch staff. Actively participates in program, department, branch, association and national in-person and remote meetings and/or related trainings. Personally maintains all required certifications. Collaborates with marketing, branch and external site staff to promote the program broadly to qualified participants. Serves as a HIPAA Compliance Officer.
- The essential functions for this position is to be responsible for implementing the program, building and strengthening relationships within the community and the DMV, supervising daily operations, providing support and guidance to Lifestyle Coaches, and ensuring the program achieves quality performance outcomes.

- Administrative Experience, 1-2 years’ experience using word, excel, PowerPoint and publisher. Willing to be trained on Health Insurance Portable and Accountability Act (HIPP).
- Experience using Microsoft outlook a plus.
Salary:$20.00-$25.00/hr
