Under the supervision of the School Age Child Care Director, this position is responsible for the organization, delivery, and quality of the School-Age Child Care, Youth Sports, and Summer Camp programs. This includes planning, developing, evaluating, modifying, expanding and supervising all programs and services offered by the School Age Child Care Department, Summer Camp, and Youth Sports.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Plan/Assist in planning, developing, scheduling of registration, securing locations and managing all programming in the departments.
- Ensure all School Age programs are operating in accordance with YMCA policies, procedures and in compliance with State Licensing requirements. This includes staff/child ratios, continuing education records, non-compliance paperwork, classroom, medical journals, and staff/child files.
- Ensure that all Youth Sports programs are operating in according with YMCA policies and procedures. Secure and schedule athletic fields and facilities.
- Create teams, develop and distribute schedules/rules/handbooks, organize and conduct parent orientation meetings.
- Ensure program quality in the delivery of all aspects of School Age, Summer Camp, and Youth Sports operations utilizing accreditation criteria as the measurement standard.
- Oversee/assist in overseeing the purchase of all program materials, supplies, and equipment as budget permits. Develop and/or participate in fundraising activities.
- Assist in maintaining all staff files and volunteer files to meet licensing and the YMCA policies.

Skills/Experience:
- Meeting the qualifications for School Age Teacher under DCF 251 Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Centers (School Age Teacher).
- Working knowledge of DCF 251 Licensing Rules for Wisconsin.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and other basic computer functions.
- Experience working or teaching youth.
- Supervisory experience and skills.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $25,000.00 - $28,000.00
