The Director is responsible for the management and growth of the gymnastics and dance programs including program development and marketing, staff hiring and development and building strong relationships with participants and parents. This position involves dance recitals twice a year and also will work with team gymnastics, coordinate birthday parties and oversee summer programs in gymnastics and/or dance.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Plan, organize and schedule all gymnastics and dance classes.
  • Create and follow progressive lesson plans. 
  • Hire, supervise and develop staff.
  • This position will actively take part in the teaching and coaching process at times.
  • Oversee department functions such as dance recitals and provide summer programs in these areas. 
  • Budget and planning responsibility  
Educational Background: 
We are seeking someone with a Bachelors Degree and prior experience teaching gymnastics and/or dance programs.
Skills/Experience: 
  • We would like someone who has prior supervisory experience and experience overseeing dance and/or gymnastics programs.
  • This person must be well organized, creative and able to build strong relationships.
  • Budget management experience and the ability to grow these programs and drive revenue is desired.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $39,000.00 - $44,000.00
