The Nutrition Director will ensure all facets of the YMCA's nutrition, wellness and weight loss spaces and programs meet the needs of families, members and health seekers. The position will oversee the development, administration, operations, scheduling and supervision of our many programs and initiatives in support of healthy living.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Ensure that program quality and service meets member expectations
  • Develop and manage department budget and drive toward revenue goals.
  • Work with Marketing staff to successfully market programs and create enthusiasm
  • Establish strong relationships with members and promote the program success
  • Recruit, train and coach program volunteers 
Educational Background: 
A Bachelors Degree is required in Health, Dietetics, Exercise Science or related field and a Masters Degree and/or certification as a Registered Dietician is preferred. 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Experience working with weight loss programs and prior nutrition programming is desired
  • Outstanding communications and planning skills are necessary for success in this position.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00
