Director of Partnership Solutions

Responsible for developing highly effective partnership ideation, solutions, communications, presentations, collateral and cultivation tools in support of us developing, pitching and closing transformational partnerships. Reports to the Vice President – Partnerships.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Custom Partner Solutions (40%)

  • Lead the development of custom ideation and creative solutions to fuel the creation of corporate partnerships.  Generate “big ideas” strategically for proposals.
  • Manage working relationships with Impact Programs, Marketing & Engagement and a variety of internal stakeholders as needed to vet and ensure opportunities align with impact goals, brand and partnership priorities while ensuring execution feasibility.
  • Package brand and programmatic initiatives into customized “big asks” that strategically drive the organization’s impact, maximizing philanthropic funding potential while meeting the needs of corporate partners.
  • Oversee RFP response to ensure the NGS value proposition is front and center.

Sponsorship Development & Knowledge Hub (30%)

  • Serve as the program expert/liaison, identifying new solutions and opportunities aligned with programmatic initiatives
  • Develop partnership benefit structures around signature events and programmatic opportunities to drive philanthropic support

Presentation Development (20%) 

  • In partnership with M&E, lead the development of compelling, high-quality, on-brand partner-centric communication materials including general and custom presentations, sizzle videos and one sheets with an enhanced go-to-market narrative around the new NGS and key priorities.
  • Collaborate with programmatic leads, business development, product owners, research and other stakeholders to ensure consistency of key messages across sales development materials.
  • Drive awareness of NGS impact with key prospects and partners to support programmatic impact goals to sell-in funding opportunities.

Creative Partner Cultivation Strategy & Tools (10%)

  • Develop and execute partner communication and engagement solutions that support philanthropic funding goals.
  • Create new and innovative strategies to promote NGS’ thought leadership to engage key corporate partners and prospects.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or related field
Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of related experience

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Strong interpersonal and written communications skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and consistently deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Collaborative team player with diplomatic temperament
  • Mastery of presentation development; narrative and creation of design and pitch narrative in Keynote/PowerPoint.
