This position oversees assigned program areas of the branch, with a strong focus on programming and staff mentoring, providing supervision and leadership to aquatics, sports, youth and teen programs, summer camp and business operations. The position will participate in volunteer and staff development, financial development, community relations and collaborations with community agencies. They will also provide leadership support to the branch when the Executive Director is not available. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • In conjunction with the Executive Director, lead the branch strategic activities to meet the 3 year strategic plan goals. 
  • Provide oversight of branch programs to ensure we meet member needs and drive revenue growth
  • Recruit, hire, mentor and develop staff within the branch
  • Provide fundraising expertise to work with volunteers and support our fundraising efforts.
  • Assist directors and coordinators in budget development and financial management
  • Drive creative and innovative programming
Educational Background: 
A Bachelor's Degree is required.
Skills/Experience: 
  • A minimum of 5 or more years of YMCA management experience is necessary. Experience managing multiple functions along with a track record of success in program areas is required.
  • This person must be well organized, articulate and persuasive, able to develop budgets and drive revenue and able to build strong relationships with members, staff, volunteers and within the community.  
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $58,000.00 - $66,000.00
