The Mission Operations Coordinator supports the overall planning and efficient administration of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Mission, including all Mission departments, staff, and Mission critical activities. The key functions of this role include the successful coordination and administration of operational objectives; annual Mission budget and monthly forecast; grant related audit and reconciliation; cohesive and efficient systems, process and practice across Mission areas; and cross functional integration of Mission across the balance of the organization. In addition, the Mission Operations Coordinator serves as the office administrator for the local LLS Office of Public Policy in which the position is based.
- All aspects of office administration - including supply orders; coordination of conference space and office visitors; POC for building management; contracts and invoices; contact lists, etc.
- Coordination of the annual budget and monthly Mission forecast process, including report generation, distribution and review; expense coding guidance and corrections.
- Maintenance of Mission processes, cheat sheets, guides, templates and tools.
- Day-to-day grant program support including allocation of funds, tracking, budget reconciliation, and compliance to sponsor agreements and objectives.
- Special project support and additional support functions for the Vice President, Senior Director, and Manager Mission Operation. Working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote field and campaign fundraising initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to implement strategic objectives of The LLS Mission.

- High degree of organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Office, Word and PowerPoint; experience with web based business applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while juggling and coordinating multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Ability to work successfully in a cross-functional team, including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and succeed in a highly matrixed environment.
