The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is hiring an Executive Director to oversee the HOA/Metro District Community Centers: Meridian Ranch, Banning Lewis Ranch and Cordera. This individual will provide oversight to future growth on the east side region of Colorado Springs and will oversee the total operations of the centers, including membership, marketing, programs, facilities, volunteers and staff development, HOA/Metro District Board support, financial development, community relations and collaborations with community agencies.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provides support to the HOA/Metro District to Boards
- Responsible for quality, growth, and evaluation of all programs
- Directs the volunteer activities of the centers
- Directs the financial development activities of the branch
- Represents and promotes the YMCA in the local community and develops positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community agencies in service delivery area
- Oversees the hiring, training, and supervision of staff
- Develops, manages, and monitors the branch operating budget to meet or exceed budget targets
- Directs strategic planning efforts and develops the annual operating plan of the centers
- Develops and directs high quality member engagement strategies and programs which support branch and Association mission, goals, and strategies
- Ensures the safety and maintenance of high quality facilities, grounds, and equipment
- Directs center marketing and communication efforts
- Serves as a member of YMCA management and supports the overall objectives of the YMCA
- Schedule facilities for program delivery
- Responsible for recruitment, training, and supervision of program volunteers and staff
- Provide support to future growth on the east side region of Colorado Springs
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent.
Skills/Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Three or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other not-for-profit agency.
- Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of branch budget, marketing and public relations, and program development
- Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to recruit top community leaders
- Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations
- YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred
- ALL YMCA employees must be CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Oxygen certified (training available upon hiring)
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00
