Internship

In 2017 the Save the Children Movement adopted a Gender Equality Policy positing that a focus on gender equality is fundamental for achieving our vision for all children. The policy applies across our entire organization, to our work in both humanitarian and development contexts, globally and domestically, and across all levels, teams and departments.

In 2019, Save the Children US (SCUS) launched an agency-wide Gender Equality Strategy for 2019-2021 that takes a cohesive and coordinated approach to advancing gender equality & social inclusion within and through Save the Children. This includes incorporating a gender equality lens in all our work (within organization and programs) both as a human right and an end in itself, as well as a means to overcome poverty and injustice.
