Communications & Marketing Group is a multimedia, service-focused communications operation that leads in shaping the impression of AARP by providing communications planning, support and execution for AARP’s strategic business units.
Under the direct supervision of the Director and Executive Producer, the Spanish Editorial intern will learn to navigate the working environment of a digital editorial team working with both editors, digital producers and translators; they will write articles directly in Spanish, interview and research articles and photos, learn to use a contact management system, build articles and other interactive features, update editorial channels and sub-channels as needed, provide assistance with social media, pitch story ideas, participate in editorial team meetings, use Omniture Analytics for basic metrics reporting, and other editorial tasks.
- Students must have a professional working proficiency in Spanish.
