Serve as an intern supporting projects within the Global Health Population and Nutrition Group. The intern will be responsible for conducting research and literature reviews, coordinating and drafting technical products such as blogs, powerpoint presentations, case studies, reports, and manuscripts. The intern will also provide administrative and logistical support for activities (and ensuring activities are completed in accordance with FHI 360 regulations).
- Conduct literature reviews and background research for project products and reports
- Summarize findings from literature reviews, research, and presentations for consumption and inclusion in program deliverables
- Assist in the preparation and production of project products, reports, presentations, manuscripts and other documents
- Assist technical staff with other technical tasks as assigned
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage details
- Excellent writing skills
- Familiarity with basic statistical analysis, including STATA and SPSS software
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities
- Articulate and professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive fashion with clients and staff.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Prior work experience in a non- governmental organization (NGO) or other professional office setting preferred.
- Energetic and collaborative team player.
- Interest and experience in global health
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
