Climate Adaptation and Resilience Intern

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks an intern to support the Climate Adaptation team's Climate Crowd initiative. Climate Crowd is a crowdsourcing initiative that convenes and supports a network of partners to gather data on how climate change is impacting people and nature, and implements on-the-ground projects that help rural communities adapt while reducing pressure on biodiversity.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The intern will primarily be responsible for analyzing surveys submitted to wwfclimatecrowd.org and compiling 2-page summary reports that identify key trends in the data. Other duties may include managing online content and assisting with communications materials. 
Educational Background: 
Undergraduate or graduate student
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Interest in climate change, wildlife and/or international development
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent research and written communication skills, with close attention to detail
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Knowledge of qualitative data analysis techniques preferred
