350.org is looking for talented Regional Video Producer with filmmaking and editing experience, to support our regional and global content creation plans for Europe-Africa regions. 

You will be an experienced producer, filmmaker and editor, with secure and swift editing skills across a range of genres. You will report to the Multimedia Manager and support both regional and global media production projects, supporting teams in several countries. You will support pre-production, production and post-production either directly or through a network of practitioners you will help to build.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Produce videos to serve 350.org's worldwide and regional campaign priorities
  • Assist regional and project teams to produce videos to serve regional and project priorities
  • Coordinate contracted videographers, editors and post-production artists
  • As needed, assist coordination of internal staff and contractors doing work related to video and multimedia
  • Cultivate partnerships with external content creators
  • Maintain the organisation's multimedia archive with fellow producers and the Multimedia Manager
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least three (3) years of experience in video and/or new media production/management
    • Experience producing videos designed for an online audience
    • Fluency in camera operation, field and location lighting, sound mixing
    • Expertise in directing, shooting and editing professional videos
  • Keen narrative instincts, with a portfolio that demonstrates them
  • Role flexibility in working on shared media project
  • Fluency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro. Facility with other editing and post-production platforms and motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills and multilingual proficiency in English and relevant national language(s)
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the climate movement. Commitment to building grassroots power as a means to effective change.

  • Experience in remote production
  • Experience in audience engagement through digital channels
  • Experience working in a nongovernmental organization or nonprofit sector
  • Professional experience and competency working in an international environment and in multicultural groups
  • Able to travel internationally on occasion
