The Office & Human Resource Administrator will provide primarily Human Resource and Office support to the organization as well as basic financial support to the Deputy Director.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Provide administrative support to the staff
  • Oversee all office equipment, purchasing of office supplies, interact with all vendors related to the office
  • Organize office events
  • Maintain administrative files, employee files and electronic files
  • Oversee the time clock, use spreadsheet to compute employee hours
  • Responsible for purchase, maintenance and supplies for office equipment
  • Office Safety Management
  • Interface with the landlord for the office
  • Interface with I.T. Vendor
  • Coordinate hardware and software updates with I.T vendor
  • Handle workman’s comp claims and insurance claims
  • Prepare weekly bank deposits
  • Maintain license renewals
  • Administer Health care insurance, STD & LTD benefits
  • Provide New Hire Orientation
  • Manage hourly time clock
  • Maintain Employee Handbook
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills/Experience: 
  • At least two years full-time experience with Office and human resources
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Some familiarity with nonprofit organizations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and professional office skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of computers
  • Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels of the organization as well as with outside business contacts
  • Time commitment: Part-Time, some evenings and weekends required
