The Office & Human Resource Administrator will provide primarily Human Resource and Office support to the organization as well as basic financial support to the Deputy Director.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide administrative support to the staff
- Oversee all office equipment, purchasing of office supplies, interact with all vendors related to the office
- Organize office events
- Maintain administrative files, employee files and electronic files
- Oversee the time clock, use spreadsheet to compute employee hours
- Responsible for purchase, maintenance and supplies for office equipment
- Office Safety Management
- Interface with the landlord for the office
- Interface with I.T. Vendor
- Coordinate hardware and software updates with I.T vendor
- Handle workman’s comp claims and insurance claims
- Prepare weekly bank deposits
- Maintain license renewals
- Administer Health care insurance, STD & LTD benefits
- Provide New Hire Orientation
- Manage hourly time clock
- Maintain Employee Handbook
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Experience:
- At least two years full-time experience with Office and human resources
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Some familiarity with nonprofit organizations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and professional office skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of computers
- Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels of the organization as well as with outside business contacts
- Time commitment: Part-Time, some evenings and weekends required
