Development Director

United Way of the Coastal Empire is seeking a highly dynamic, team-oriented, and mission-driven Development Director to strategically steward workplace and individual giving and engagement programs to support United Way’s goals for our community. This includes engaging and nurturing donors year-round to strengthen relationships and expanding the network of donors by being visible and engaged in the community.  Candidate must be a persuasive communicator both in person and in written communication; able to quickly build relationships with a diverse group of constituents from clients to CEOs; possess a high degree of professional integrity to deal ethically with confidential information; analyze data to inform strategy with a keen eye for details and the ability to multi-task.  All of this will require excellent technical ability, and a passion for our mission.  Experience working with executive level volunteers required.  Minimum five (5) years demonstrated history of sales and/or community outreach success with at least three (3) years in nonprofit fundraising experience required
