NRDC is seeking a Clean Energy Graduate Student Fellow to work with the Climate and Clean Energy team in our San Francisco office. This is a part-time internship starting in late Spring (March or April) and which becomes full time (35 hours/week) during the summer (June-August). This is a paid internship.
The Fellow will work with NRDC staff on policy related to reducing emissions from buildings and better integrating distributed energy resources into the electric grid. - Develop formal proceeding comments to provide input of policy design and implementation
- Develop internal memos, public blogs, and other writing to further policy opportunities to decarbonize the electricity and building sectors.
- Present findings and information both internally, and as opportunities arise at workshops or other public forums.
- Required: Strong writing skills
- Required: Ability to absorb new information quickly and communicate it to diverse audiences
- Preferred: Some experience with policy opportunities to decarbonize the electricity and building sectors
