Areas of Responsibility: 

Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida, Inc. is looking for a Paralegal to work on a new project providing victims of intimate partner violence with access to legal representation to assert and seek enforcement of their civil rights in criminal cases, including appellate proceedings. The Paralegal will work under the direct supervision of the Attorney to whom assigned as she/he/they provide civil legal services to victims of domestic and intimate partner violence in her/his/their abuser’s related criminal cases. The Paralegal will become familiar with the law and dynamics of intimate partner violence. The Paralegal will assist with all phases of case work, including interviewing clients, discovery, investigations, drafting pleadings, and legal research. The Paralegal will comply with all program requirements, including efficient case management, completion of timely reports, professional development and all mandated trainings. Bilingual (Spanish/English/Creole) preferred. EOE. Email resume to [email protected].

Educational Background: 
Paralegal education and/or work experience in the position.
Skills/Experience:

Compensation/Benefits: 

This is a salaried posiition.  Health insurance, paid vacation, holidays and sick time; retirement plan is available.
