Design a wide range of print, audio, video, social behavior change (SBC) communication content to disseminate project interventions. Typical assignments shall include innovative campaign copy, event display and designs, infographics, advocacy and media kits, flyers, training modules, reports, posters, social media content, e-Newsletter, PowerPoint presentations, film and radio scripts.
The position also requires supervision of print, audio and film vendors to ensure timeliness of top-quality deliverables. Content will be in English and Tagalog and will adhere to USAID and FHI 360 branding guidelines.
- Conceptualize and develop consistent theme and image of the SBC products
- Conceptualize and develop print, audio and video communication materials in response to the SBC objectives
- Prepare mock-ups and prototypes for pre-testing and finalization.
- Create websites, web pages and web-based materials
- Design infographics, reports, e-newsletters, videos, event displays.
- Articulate the rationale behind design solutions in client presentations and correspondence.
- Format products as required to work with print, audio and video vendors for final outputs.
- Appraise and follow-up art directors, project managers, and/or vendors about project milestones.
- Collaborate with clients, build rapport, and nurture productive professional working relationships through the course of the project.
- Contribute to business development activities
- Write brief activity reports and document events if required.
- Maintain archive of projects following the established file structure and organization
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have a strong background in visual design and demonstrate an impeccable sense of typography and expertise in translating data to information graphics.
- Must exhibit a solid understanding of human centered design principles and a strong attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software products (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and, Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Knowledge of web design, HTML, illustration, motion graphics, and video production preferred.
- Experience in video film making, scratch animatics and ability to assemble rough edits is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Must be able thrive in a diverse, fast-paced collaborative environment and have superb time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English and Tagalog.
- 5-8 years professional experience in graphic design and print, audio and video production.
- At least 2-3 years’ direct experience in social media campaign planning and digital advertising.
- Experience of working with government institutions is desirable
WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Usual office working conditions.
- Ability to travel domestically at least 25%.
