Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. We are looking to hire a dynamic nurturing Program Assistant.
This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 hour day between 7:15 am – 5:00 pm, 12 months per year. A comprehensive benefit package is provided.
The Program Assistant is responsible for assisting in the delivery of programs and services and for providing personal care in facility and community participation supports settings for consumers in the Adult Day Services program.
Educational Background:
High School Diploma/GED or
Skills/Experience:
The Program Assistant is required to have one of the following:
- High School Diploma/GED or One+ year experience working with individuals in a health care or social services setting;
- Current First Aid and CPR training preferred.
- A valid PA Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record required.
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.
- Acceptable Child Abuse Clearance required.
- Department of Aging FBI Clearance required if not a continuous resident of PA for three years prior to employment with Easterseals.
- Passing of physical examination and TB required.
