AIUSA has established a street fundraising program acquiring new monthly donors in 4 cities across the country, the program currently employs around 60 staff. The ambition is to expand to be in up to ten cities nationwide, with a staff of 150-200.
The street fundraising department seeks a Management and Administration Intern eager to learn more about recruitment, training and staff management while contributing to the human rights movement. This intern will be collaborating with the National Canvass Director and NYC Canvass Director and will be responsible for:
- Working with Directors on staff evaluations and performance enhancement plans
- Contacting applicants and scheduling interviews;
- Brainstorming and developing new recruitment streams; and
- Tracking and analyzing data.
Educational Background:
Enrolled in a graduate program or currently an Upper Junior/ Senior in a Undergrad program
Skills/Experience:
- Available part-time (2-3 days a week)
- Interest in non-profit
- Excellent communication skills, able to converse easily with a diverse range of applicants
- Proficiency in Excel desirable
- Good problem solving skills; able to work independently.
