Sr. Manager- Leadership Giving

Reporting to the RD Director for Asia Pacific, this position oversees the operational activities of the Leadership Giving (LG) team based in identified countries in Asia and the Pacific to enable the implementation of LG fundraising objectives. This includes fulfilling the role of a database administrator for leadership gifts engaging the moves management approach for LG fundraising in utmost collaboration with the respective NO leadership in AP countries. This role also would strategically engage the APDC leadership, the HDC leadership, and other leaders of LG channels in EMEA and LAC. Additionally, this position supports the creation and tracking of LG budgets, tracks LG revenue and pledges emerging from and for AP countries, and measures key performance indicators on a regular basis in collaboration with NOs. The Sr. Manager, Leadership Giving will also provide database training to staff, serve as the lead for all LG data queries, donor relationship and donor engagement. Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Work with HQrs team of HDC to implementation of a new CRM for the organization.
  • Acts as the database administrator for the leadership giving team in the region and completes regular maintenance on the data stores within the CRM
  • Works collaboratively with the Corporate fundraising team to identify opportunities for LG from the CXOs
  • Provides consultative services and staff training in the CRM across AP
  • Works collaboratively with key functional areas and leads including Finance, IT, Events and Strategic Initiatives
  • Provides direction and support in the development of operations plan for the LG team
  • Supports the RD Director and AVP in acknowledgment of all LG gifts and pledges and pledge payment reminders and pledge agreements and engages the RD Director and AVP for soliciting if necessary.
  • Responsible for new business development through efficient prospect research, provide regular status reports on revenue reporting and reconciliation in consultation with Finance team.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • 5+ years of front-line experience in fundraising in Asia geographies from corporations, high net-worth individuals in large, nation-wide setting or regional setting as part of a nationally/regionally deployed team or front-line sales in a corporate setting with a passion for social development projects and marketing

  • Demonstrated track record or successful fundraising in an environment of similar complexity. Experience in a multi-national federated organization with the ability to thrive.

  • Superior negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong development-related technology skills (internet, social media etc.)
