The Manager, Corporate Partnerships is a key contributing member of the Corporate Partnerships team liaising with corporations which support Save the Children.  S/he assists in identifying new revenue generating activities with existing corporate partners to support Save the Children's domestic and international programs.  This comes in the form of supporting others in large and complex partnerships, and being responsible for managing and growing their own partnerships in order to reach department revenue goals.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Account Support Managing Existing Commitments (55%): Play a supporting role in larger and complex partnerships, which may be led by others. For all grants and commitments assigned, work with the program teams, writers and marketing and communications to ensure all reporting, media and communication commitments are met in a timely manner. Ensure Due Diligence reviews for accounts are up to date and centrally filed. For all US-led relationships with multiple sub-account managers globally, hold semi-annual global account strategy review sessions and keep financial trackers showing all revenue booked by other members to demonstrate the total partnership value for the Save the Children movement, as applicable documents. Contribute to the vision, strategy and overall relationship with the corporate partner, as directed by the account manager.
  • Account Management & Growth (20%): Manage portfolio of assigned corporate partners to meet and exceed revenue goals. Responsible for all applicable aspects of the partnership including corporate grant/contributions, cause promotions, GIK of product and/or expertise, employee engagement and communications planning. Develop relationship vision, strategy and key performance indicators. Liaison with other areas of Save the Children to ensure client programs are effectively executed and track information related to the donor in customer relationship management system.
  • Department Support (10%): Support the department in daily duties related to managing current partners, such as research, partnership brainstorms, creation of pitch presentations, support in concept note and proposal development, and input information into BBEC/Blackbaud and pipeline documents.
  • Knowledge Management (10%): Cultivate increased knowledge about all agency program priorities representing the Corporate Unit in various program sector update and fundraising meetings when called upon to do so, including event meetings if applicable.
  • Special Projects (5%): Contribute towards the implementation of the Corporate Unit’s strategic plans as required and assigned by the Director, Senior Director & AVP. Perform other duties as may be required.
Educational Background: 
High School or Technical/Vocational Degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • You have a minimum 3-5 years' progressively responsible professional work experience in grant management or fundraising
  • Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to navigate challenging situations to achieve goals and deadlines in a continuously changing environment.
  • Ability to problem solve and take initiative.
  • Strong research capabilities.
  • Extremely client focused and results oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, highly matrixed environment.
  • Ability to drive projects through to completion.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office package.
  • Passion and commitment to Save the Children’s mission and values.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred knowledge of customer relationship management databases or Blackbaud.
  • Background in not-for-profit organizations with emphasis on client facing experience is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of other languages is desirable
