The Internal Communications intern will use their planning, writing and editing skills to create materials and keep knowledge management platforms updated for fundraisers. The intern will focus on ensuring content across internal channels where relevant and readily-available, with a focus on digital content. The intern will also be responsive to fundraisers’ needs to create, as needed, tailored presentations and materials for internal learning opportunities including Country Information sheets, Priority Program overviews and Presentation content (editing decks for internal events).
Areas of Responsibility:
- Use their planning, writing and editing skills to create materials
- Keep knowledge management platforms updated for fundraisers
- Ensure content across internal channels were relevant and readily-available, with a focus on digital content
- Create, as needed, tailored presentations and materials for internal learning opportunities
Educational Background:
Must be an actively enrolled undergraduate student or have graduated within 6 months of start date
Skills/Experience:
- Possess strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent writing and editing skills (graphic design a plus)
- Familiarity/willingness to learn web-based knowledge management platform (Sharepoint)
- Currently eligible to work in the U.S.
