The Individual Philanthropy Group (IPG) intern will support the management of donor trips to visit program sites in the U.S. and overseas. Responsibilities include supporting the IPG coordinator with all logistics, such as developing the trip itineraries and field guides, coordination efforts with program and country offices, and background checks and other paperwork.
The intern will also support the stewardship writing team with thank you letters and other projects.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Help manage the travel forms and EIF (Emergency Information Forms) sent to the donors. When these forms are returned from the donors, upload all the forms to the appropriate travel sites.
- Field Guides – Help with the consolidating all the information from the country offices into one folder, and with organize the information the information into the field guide.
- Support writing needs for the Individual Philanthropy group as assigned, including donor thank you letters and other writing projects.
Educational Background:
Must be an actively enrolled undergraduate, or have graduated within 6 months of start date.
Skills/Experience:
- Possess strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Competent writer
- Currently eligible to work in the U.S.
