The internship program is designed to give you an opportunity to complement your formal education with career-related experience. The internship provides a stimulating and substantive work experience, coupled with an opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of Feeding America.
Developing frameworks, synthesizing research data, coordinating design activities, preparing materials with the Innovation team. Internship starts 06/03/19 and ends 08/23/19
Areas of Responsibility:
- Work on the development and refinement of concepts currently underway.
- Assist in designing prototypes, the collateral materials and digital tools required for the tests.
- Communicate between departments at Feeding America National Office and work closely with the participating food banks.
- Work on digital tool development for food sourcing and/or ordering.
Educational Background:
Graduate level student studying service design and/or innovation.
Skills/Experience:
- Specialty skills include empathy-building through qualitative research, research synthesis and concept development.
- Design of digital tools and visual design concepts for testing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A strong commitment to public service and volunteerism.
