Analyze the needs of clients then design/build/test/deploy custom applications to meet those needs. Document all work/code, diagnose/resolve any problems with existing systems, as well perform required maintenance. Actively engaged in IT projects and IT operational support activities. Work activities will include .Net application development, database development, server configuration, troubleshooting, and configuration-based development on platforms such as a Content Management System, SharePoint, and MS Dynamics 365.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Design/build/test/deploys in-house applications across various platforms that meet customer requirements.
- Performs requirements analysis and design with project leads, business analysts and internal customers.
- Implements, administers security and configures commercial off-the-shelf applications.
- Develops and maintains data integrations with 3rd parties for CFF.
- Documents work/code including and not limited to process workflows and architecture diagrams.
- Has experience with Agile project methodology.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and demonstrate ability to drive to successful resolution.
- Builds, maintains and ensures other developers are leveraging the code repository.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or information technology.
Skills/Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience with:
- .NET front-end development.
- Software development life cycle. Agile/Scrum experience is preferred.
- ASP.NET Core, C#.
- JavaScript frameworks React-Redux, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, HTML5 & CSS3.
- SQL Server.
- Can communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Proven client-facing interpersonal skills and abilities; work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Solid writing skills, and superb spoken communications skills.
- Assist other departments with selection, implementation, and integration of enterprise applications.
- Proficiency with computer languages utilized in internal development.
- Understanding of QA and UAT processes in advising internal customers with outside vendors.
- Azure experience with platform as a service and identity management (authentication/authorization) using Azure Active Directory is highly desirable.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
- Sr. Director of Applications.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust and temperature.
- No heavy lifting required.
- Minimal travel (e.g., 2x/yr.) to conferences and meetings, as necessary.
