The Marketing/Communications Intern supports the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland Area Chapter to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected in northeast Ohio; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. The Marketing & Communications Intern will assist the Marketing & Communications Manager with editing, social media posts, capturing video, research, and graphic design in a collaborative, hands-on environment.    

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Create mission and event postcards/flyers using InDesign
  • Create The Longest Day deliverables using InDesign
  • Capture short video testimonials via smartphone to promote care and support services
Educational Background: 
College Junior/Senior 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design major, preferred 
  • Proficient in InDesign 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred Proficient in Google applications, preferred 
  • Knowledge and/or experience or interest in Alzheimer’s disease 
Additional Information: 
  • Spring 2019 Semester (approx. January 15 - May 1) 
  • 8-15 hours a week, weekdays between 8:30 am- 4:30 pm 
  • Flexible with school/work schedule
