Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor, who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HFHI Redistribution Center (RC), and inventory management of the Resource Warehouse (RW) e-commerce site. This positions engages with every department and program within the organization.
Areas of Responsibility:
STAFF SUPERVISION
- Leading customer service excellence in communications with external and internal clients.
- Lead and monitor operations in warehouse for safety and standards for excellence.
- Ongoing training and coaching of staff
REDISTRIBUTION CENTER OPERATIONS
- Leading and monitoring warehouse inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Leading customer service excellence in communications with external and internal clients.
- Ensuring warehouse security, cleanliness, organization, efficiency and responsiveness.
- Maintaining timely, accurate and meaningful workload data which relates to Redistribution Center (RC) warehouse volume, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Ensuring that warehouse equipment, i.e., forklift, scales, compacting equipment, and all computer systems (hardware and software) are properly maintained and that users are fully trained and authorized.
- Maintaining inventory integrity of all items stored in warehouse within inventory and financial software system.
- Arranging for special shipping needs, i.e. freight, and expedited shipping as necessary for any HFHI department or program.
- Receiving, Inventorying, and professionally processing incoming shipments of freight, mail, and print shop materials.
- Responsible to processing departmental invoices for accounts payable in timely manner
E-COMMERCE FULFILLMENT (RESOURCE WAREHOUSE)
- Maintaining all data within Resource Warehouse software
- Maintaining inventory integrity of all items listed in Resource Warehouse catalog
- Fulfilling Resource Warehouse (RW) orders in a timely, accurate and professional manner
- Maintaining adequate inventory levels for replenishable items
- Managing life cycle of special order and custom-print customer orders
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Fostering a customer-focused operation.
- Leading customer service excellence in communications with external and internal clients.
- Ensuring shipments and receipts are managed in timely, professional manner
- Ensuring stored goods are organized and labeled and positioned is safe, clean manner
Educational Background:
Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience.
Skills/Experience:
- 3 years related experience in logistics/warehouse/retail inventory.
- Supervisory experience managing others, working with outside vendors, and using Navision or other inventory management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task proficiently
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., and stand for long periods of time.
- Must possess valid drivers license and be certified to operate a forklift.
- Proficiency with computer systems, to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), internet browsers.
