The internship opportunities are open to current students or recent graduates of a college program. The intern is expected to demonstrate a keen interest in nonprofits, as well as interest in a field of study related to the position.
The Talent Management team is seeking an intern to support several initiatives supporting the mission of United Way Worldwide. The team provides world class training and career development opportunities to United Way staff members across the United States and Internationally. This position will support efforts in marketing and promoting UWW mentorship and career programs including LinkedIn Learning and providing database management through Salesforce.
- Using communication templates, create content for multiple platforms: intranet, emails, posters, slides presentations, company newsletter, and Facebook Workplace.
- Assist in writing articles for bi-weekly newsletters and other internal communications.
- Create PowerPoint slide content and presentations
- Organization event support (webinars, trainings, and other on-site events)
- Research tools and trends in career development
- May perform administrative tasks and assist with other projects as needed.
- Possesses communication or marketing experiences
- Experienced or willingness to learn Salesforce, Smartsheet and other CRM systems
- Familiarity with Adobe Connect, Zoom, or other video conferencing tools
- Strong research, grammar, and writing skills
- Knowledgeable of LinkedIn and LinkedIn Learning tools
- Ability to translate ideas into dynamic and captivating visuals
- Prioritization and organization skills are a must
- Good time management skills
- Communicates in a clear and articulate manner
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Comfortable working daily with a computer to complete work
- Strong teamwork skills to see a project to completion
