The internship opportunities are open to current students or recent graduates of a college program. The intern is expected to demonstrate a keen interest in nonprofits, as well as interest in a field of study related to the position. 

United Way Worldwide is looking for a qualified intern to join our internal Creative Studio team. Our team supports internal clients from United Way Worldwide with creative projects that span across print, digital, and video. All design projects are required to adhere to the proper implementation of brand graphic standards. 

Interns can expect to work closely with the Creative Studio team and in tandem with internal clients on a variety of projects that may include: events, unitedway.org website, network toolkits, social media etc. Intern will refine their design skills and learn hands-on about graphic design, video production and digital development in a fast-paced environment. 

Skills/Experience: 
  • Passion to create on-brand, innovative designs for print and digital applications  
  • Excellent design and software skills 
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite for digital and print design (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) 
  • Attention to detail   
  • Interest in emerging web and digital technologies  
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus 
  • Experience with animation or motion graphic design is a plus
